Using a wide range of impact forces at high frequency, we can assess the effect of mechanical stressing on the coating, the substrate and the interface between them. We can estimate the life-span of a coating, all made possible through development, continuous improvement and our novel algorithms.
The Impact Tester Instrument
Our state of the art Impact Tester jigs are suitable for evaluating the properties of coated surfaces, including PVD (physical vapor deposition) and CVD (chemical vapor deposition). This can drastically shorten the time to market for coating manufacturers introducing new technologies.
